Our Ingredients

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is a powerful moisturizer that is beneficial to restoring dry or flaking skin. Unlike your average moisturizer that contains a lot of water and likely synthetic ingredients, coconut oil helps to strengthen skin tissue more deeply and eliminate dead skin cells while absorbing quickly into your skin.

Coconut oil also helps to delay the occurrence of wrinkles because it contains antioxidant Vitamin E, known to protect skin cells from damage over time. The Vitamin E found in coconut oil soothes eczema, sunburn and psoriasis, and its antiviral and anti-fungal benefits even help to treat bug bites.

Coconut oil contains 3 fatty acids: capric acid, lauric acid and caprylic acid. Each of these acids kill candida, a common cause of fungal infection on your skin.

Cocoa butter

Cocoa butter makes an excellent skin moisturizer, plus it does more than just hydrate the skin — it helps actually heal it from the inside out too. It’s a great source of natural antioxidants that are found in cocoa beans (the same kinds found in real, dark chocolate that are tied to benefits like heart health and improved cognitive functioning). Saturated fats are especially beneficial for healing dry, cracked skin because they’re easily absorbed and remain on the skin for hours.

Rub a small amount of pure cocoa butter into burnt skin to help skin replenish. Just make sure it’s pure and doesn’t contain any alcohol, fragrances/perfumes or other additives that can lead skin to become even more inflamed and sensitive.

It’s is even gentle enough to be used as a natural treatment for eczema or dermatitis. It’s also a rash natural remedyAloe vera gel or tea tree essential oil are two great additions for applying to burnt or sensitive skin.

Beeswax fights bacteria thanks to its biologically active makeup. Ingredients like this are mainstays of the natural skincare world, helping to maintain your skin’s cleanliness and fight contamination in an array of effective skin relief products. Beeswax even helps to prevent the growth of bacteria and fungus, and is used in the treatment of numerous bacterial skin conditions as a result.

It promotes hydration by attracting water naturally. Like a magnet for water molecules, this natural miracle works to restore and maintain your skin’s moisture, keeping it hydrated and healthy in the long term.

Beeswax has protective powers, helping to defend against environmental attacks and cling on to our skin’s natural moisture. Other ingredients containing petroleum are notorious for suffocating our skin, clogging pores and aggravating dry skin, while beeswax offers thirst-quenching protection for your skin.

It is hypoallergenic, making it an absolute life-saver for anyone suffering from eczema, dermatitis, or even more intimate conditions like hemorrhoids. Its soothing, anti-inflammatory properties help it to relieve the irritations associated with these skin complaints and make for an ideal cosmetic ingredient, even for those prone to allergic reactions.

Arrowroot powder has been known to contribute to many medicines and health-related substances because of its moisture-absorbing properties. Arrowroot is anti-inflammatory and also can work as an antiseptic, making it perfect for irritated areas such as burns, rashes and sores. In some countries, it is even used with water as a paste to apply to open wounds.

Arrowroot is predominantly known for its soothing properties. A natural healer for small irritations, it assists with the drying out of wounds, rashes or blemishes. Because of its natural origin, arrowroot flour will not hurt the skin further, allowing it to rest without additional irritation.

Arrowroot powder calms the skin while balancing the oil and effectively fighting against acne through penetration of the skin. It encourages a stronger skin surface and works to reduce unnecessary oils while contributing to the healing of irritations.

Sodium Bicarbonate

Baking soda is one of the best natural deodorizers that help treat mild to severe body odor. It helps absorb moisture and sweat from the skin, thereby reducing body odor. Being an antibacterial agent, it also helps kill bacteria that give rise to body odor. Our Sodium bicarbonate is powdered grade, so the is less grainy then many deodorants that use it.

White Kaolin Clay

Kaolin clay powder is a remedy which has been used for centuries. Its renowned properties soothe skin and restrain bacteria, making it an excellent agent for detoxification. Because Kaolin clay improves blood circulation, Topically applying it can treat skin conditions like soreness of muscles, treating insect bites, and also enhances healing of bruises and minor cuts and scrapes.

Essential Oils

Essential oils are the key to adding scent  to our deodorants (and a few even carry the trick to keeping you odor free.)
